China is interested in operating thousands of space flights a year

China has become more focused on space. By 2045, the country wants to launch a space program that will be able to bring in passengers and millions of cargoes, and operate thousands of space flights a year.

China's state news agency Xinhua recently quoted a senior Chinese official as saying. On the other hand, China wants to emerge as a major space power by 2030, like the United States and Russia.

Bao Weimin, a senior official at China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, told a news conference that their planned space flight process could also meet commercial demand upfront.

He added that China has set a deadline for success in the technology needed to create such an experimental process. The country hopes to achieve great success by 2025.

China has been working for the past few years to make space travel more affordable. The country is also building reusable rockets called 'Long March 7 and 9'.

The country has successfully launched and landed a reusable rocket this month. In a separate report, Xinhua called the incident an "important milestone" in the study of reusable spacecraft technology in China, as it would make it possible to travel more "easily and at low cost" into space for "peaceful" purposes.
