Trudeau gave the 'good news' to those who lost their jobs

Many Canadians have lost their jobs due to the deadly coronavirus. However, the country's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is standing by their side. He made a new announcement for them on Tuesday.

Trudeau said the time for 'federal income support' is being extended for those who have lost their jobs in Corona. That is eight weeks long.

He also said that the border with the United States will remain closed until July 21.

At a news conference on Tuesday, Justin Trudeau noted that 13 provinces and territories have gradually started economic activities. He said that 'income support' still needs to be given.

He added that many workers will find jobs, many will not. Although we have started to reopen everything, this support is needed to pay the bills of a large number of people when looking for work.

Unemployment in the country rose to record levels in May due to Corona.

According to data released on Monday night in Canada, 99,148 people have been infected with a corona in the country so far. At the same time, 6,165 people died.
