Come back to the beauty of the desert

The orcs of the desert,
look like unicorns. |
My leave from government work, but I do some work with local owners in the
desert. Some of my research is mainly about the wild animals that are here or
those that migrate. That is why he has to stay on the field all the time, but
he has to abide by the rules and regulations.
After wearing masks and gloves, I left home at 6 am on May 10. Except for
the main desert sands, the four-wheel-drive vehicles of the Arabs are
constantly plying the roads. I follow them. The hard lands of the desert with
gravel or loamy soils are called hard sabkha here. These places or sand can be
driven quite comfortably. There is very little need to get out of the car and
see the wild animals. But in some studies walking is better.
After driving for 40 minutes, I crossed 60 kilometers and reached the
desert called Marmum. A piece of the desert next to the main road. A subkha of
five-six square kilometers. However, a wall of trees has been erected on both
sides of the road in such a way that the desert view is not visible.
As soon as the car entered Sabkha, it looked like some white mound in the
distance. Going closer, I saw that they were nothing more than Arabian orcs,
the original inhabitants of the desert. A small group of a dozen. After eating
all night, he is chewing and chewing.
The leader was the first to notice the sound of the car. Seeing that, the
rest also got excited. About half of this sub-basin is surrounded by greenery.
Most of the space is occupied by small oval leafy zygophyllum hamias shrubs
filled with saltwater. Animals usually do not want to eat it. When there is a
shortage of food, camels or rarely deer are forced to eat their young leaves.
Two other herbivorous grass species, Penicetum divisum, and Panicum
tarzidum, have also been widely grown in the surrounding desert areas. Because
it has been raining intermittently from last November to April. In a process
called cloud seeding, rain is forced down from the running clouds. The desert
looks green.
In the 1980s, the Arab Orix was wiped out from the Arab world. There were
only a few specimens in the private palaces of the Arab kings. From there,
dozens of Orix are bred in Western zoos and sold in Arab countries. The royal
orchards and the orcs brought are bred in large numbers. It was then left in
the desert in the late 1970s. Their prey is also strictly controlled.
In the last two centuries, more than two dozen wild animals have been lost
from Bangladesh. In the last 50 years since independence, we have not taken the
initiative to replace any of them in nature. We have not even thought about why
such an initiative is necessary. I think the reason for this is that our
country does not have a separate organization called the Wildlife Department.
With the forest department, this is never going to happen. The work of the
forest department is different. With them, the forest that has been occupied so
far has not been rescued, the conservation of extinct wildlife is a far cry.
